The Traffic Manager supports 3 hierarchical roles:

The Traffic Manager supports the use of multiple resellers (Virtual Network Operators) who are able to provide service provisioning for their clients directly.
Clients can check their status and data consumption at any time.
How IP Traffic Volume Manager works:
The MAINDATA IP Traffic Volume Manager (further refered to as "Traffic Manager") allows the Definition of the IP Volume (both Tx & Rx) per Client (identified by the IP address or IP range).The Data IP Volume in combination with the Recharge Interval and the Maximum bandwidth are representing the Package. The Recharge interval can be set to "never / daily / monthly". In the case where the recharge interval is set to "never", the Package is defined as a one time occurence only, and will never be recharged. In the case of a daily/monhtly recharge, the interval Package is being recharged periodically at a pre-defined time during the validity of the Package.A Different Maximum Tx & Rx bandwidth can be defined for each package, and applicable for Active, Expired and Exhausted Packages. By using 3 Bandwidth settings, Resellers (Service providers) may choose whether they wish to stop or drop down bitrates after exhausting the Data Volume or after expiration of the Package. Additional Maximum Tx & Maximum Rx bandwidth settings can be defined for Peak hours. The Maximum bandwidth can be switched off (e.g. using other QoS server) by leaving the Maximum bandwidth empty. By combining the above-mentioned few parameters, a large variety of Packages can be created. Packages are named by Resellers as e.g. "Basic", "Premium", etc. Predefined packages are at a final stage assigned by the reseller to the end-users by assigning a validity (duration) of a Package.
